"Spatial and Urban Development Agency" has formally approved the detailed urban development plan for "Ambassadori Island Batumi"
The document, which was approved by the "Spatial and Urban Development Agency", includes a proposal for the establishment of a multifunctional tourist complex on two artificial peninsulas and one artificial island. The development is set to encompass an area of 84 hectares.
The development plan for the artificial peninsulas and island was prepared by the British company Arup, a global company with many years of experience in urban planning. A comprehensive feasibility study for the project was prepared by the London and Tbilisi offices of Colliers.
The Ambassadori Island Batumi project embodies a distinct and singular conceptual vision for real estate development, poised to make a substantial contribution to Georgia's economy and the enhancement of the socio-economic conditions of the local community. The project encompasses educational and healthcare institutions, 5-star hotels, residential apartments, serviced apartments, luxury villas, a private yacht club, heliports, a beach, and other contemporary infrastructure.
The project is expected to generate at least 7,000 employment opportunities for Georgian citizens, thereby making a substantial contribution to the economic development of the region as a whole.
A significant proportion of the project area, amounting to 49%, is earmarked for public recreational spaces. These include a 9-hectare forest park, a coastal boulevard, 3.2 kilometers of walking paths, sports fields, and leisure spaces. These facilities are designed to offer exceptional resources for the health and well-being of modern society.
The Ambassadori Group is completing construction works four years ahead of the typical timeframe envisaged by the investment agreement, with 25 hectares already developed out of the 84 hectares planned for the project.
